perryton, tx | Obviously a vague question since nobody here has seen him…but had my older (7 yr old)herd bull come up limping on a back leg the day after I turned him in with cows. Not a terrible limp and he never left the herd but I questioned whether he could mount a cow. The source of the limp was really hard to distinguish but I got him into the vet today and she said most likely a stifle injury. She gave him pain and anti inflammatory meds and prescribed a week of confined rest and see if he improves. I don’t have any way of knowing what’s going on inside the joint but my gut feeling is given his age he’s probably done. Hope I’m wrong. | |
