| I’ll concede that what I’m saying sort of goes against conventional wisdom although I’d say a good model is a good model and that’s why they make the models.
But I read this book as a kid called Enders game and in the beginning of the book there’s this line where he says
“always listen to what your teachers or mentors have to say, but you don’t always have to agree with every word”
And really the correlation and causation thing always bothered me. They said correlation doesn’t prove causation. And sort of dismissed just correlation as a standalone use case. But I don’t agree with that. I think correlation in and of itself can be a useful tool | |
