SW OH | I don't have a clue about Draxxin, but everything has an expiration date. Most of them are to cover the manufacturers liability. Some drugs never expire, some do, and some just lose potency over time. Yet they all have a date. My oldest brother is a retired vet and has gone through my collection, pitching some things, and saving some saying this never goes bad.
Just like food for human consumption. The only thing that expires is baby food. Everything else has a best by date. The best by date is an underhanded concept to get consumers to throw away good food and buy more. The more they sell, the more profit they make.
