With beef economics is seems like a no brainer to put several quarters back to grass. Yes?

Looking at that 2023 production it's astounding how Marshall county has 40 bushel beans and 30 miles west half that. And we were in that 20 bu range as well. Rough one. Looking forward to a few decent rains in August for a change.

It’s kind of funny, though, to me that folks are now realizing that cattle “can pay” for grazing when fence clearing has been non-stop for the past 10 years and BOTH the cost of breeding animals is high and a barrier to entry for a lot of folks AND grazing stockers will cost you a short 2k for a 5-6 wt and stock talk has veteran feeders voicing concerns about holding money together…..

The water is warm, come on in. Paying Tuition suck$
Lots of pairs sold in the southern plains drought a few years back and May 2021 feeders were around $130-$150. It sounds crazy but buying $4,000 pairs might pan out if we have 3 years of $300 feeder prices. Can you buy good pairs for that?
