Subject: RE: Advice on farm future??

Central Illinois
Would your equipment last a while longer if you only farmed your family farm 320 and the 40? Is this enough cash flow for your land payments? This option doesn't solve the problem of shed/shop.

Do you have a neighbor farmer with another younger generation farming who you can trust to farm together? This option could possibly continue the family farm after you retire. It also provides an opportunity to another generation of farmers.

I understand your concerns. My son and I are contemplating an equipment purchase. We are weighing the benefits of the purchase, but are also concerned with the cost per acre and the direction our markets will take with the production of the crops this season.

God bless you in the decision make.
