I think he probably likes it a little more than you think.
I personally have yet to meet the first "successful farmer" who doesn't like what he's doing.
If he wasn't liking it he wdnt be successful.


Again, you aren't getting it. "Success" comes in different flavors for different people. Being a success financially on a farm that you were forced into when you had dreams of other things - OR even if you desired to farm but are forced to do it the way Pa wants, is not "success" to some of these guys in those situations. According to your way of thinking, guys in prison have it made. Three meals a day, all expenses paid, what are they bitching about?
