Top middle of MO. land of green hills and grass
Beans on beans.

I do everything this way, all have covers, so no comparison, but yields in the Mid60s last year (as were these pics) with no measurable rain in Aug/Sep to finish us.

Didn’t find any of the crop at harvest. Mostly the rye falls down. Some still standing. So far haven’t had issues separating it from the beans. Also hasn’t seemed to make them that much tougher to cut. Sometimes is more dusty than they might be, but maybe beans with the cover were going to be dusty too?

That planter actually came from a guy on here. Actually just sold it to go a little different direction. It had served me fairly well, but got concerned about its stability crossing waterways, all the lift is in the middle.
