coast of Maine | On the bullet exploding,,,Long ago employee(18 Y/o then ),,took a 30-06 bullet that was unshot.Drilled a hole in the powder area.Shook out the gun powder.Made a key chain with it dangling.While waiting for work start time he aimed the bullet at his young cousin and held a lighter to the primer end,,it(primer) exploded but the primer blew back into his hand that was holding the lighter.His young cousin(12) ran around to me in the shop"Brian shot himself,Brian shot himself",,,It was left in his wrist as it was too near nerves to remove.It stayed there and he had to declare metal in his body when in the military he could tell others he had been shot before,,good time guy ,,died of cancer at about 45 years old.Was a welder career guy. | |
