I’m all for research but I not knowing anymore about it than I do ,I would also guess that there would be many many universities across the country with much lower household income students than Harvard , probably those universities have a lot less political pull to get those grants from the folks that like to hand them out , just a guess
I’m sure those universities would be getting some of that money if they had the facilities Harvard does, and the people it takes to do the work.
Just a guess.
