SC WI | Let me take a stab. As long as the cost to build a house stays up there, older houses are going to hold their value. There has been mass building of apartments locally, at some point the residents will cycle into home ownership. Quite a few boomers own multiple houses as well.
Farm Land locally seemed to go up similarly to actual inflation rate. The recreational ground is bringing more than good farm ground, it’s whack. See how long that lasts.
In summary there was a lot of equity built by some during Covid inflation, they are going to keep investing. | |
