SE SD | Yes exactly! Just because it goes in perfect doesn't mean much. Long way to go. This year reminds me of 2004. We were a little on the dry side planted every square inch. Had no rain in May, and warm/hot weather. Everyone thought the crop was going to burn up quick. Then the rains started mid June and stayed cooler and wetter than normal all the way through August. We had phenomenal crops that year. It also snowed early too. I finished combining corn right before a ice/snowstorm on Christmas eve. | |
