You drank 30 beers a day?!?!

Yes , every day . Might only been 20 some days . That was probably rare though .

I know several people that drink 18-24 every day .

I could function on 30 . I started at 5:30 am and drank until 10 pm - sometimes midnight .

Really would not be drunk at bedtime .

About 2 beers an hour . With the tolerance I had it was virtually impossible for me to get drunk .

I did not really feel good as could be expected, had heartburn a lot too .

One day I had heartburn pretty bad , riding a tractor on rough ground . I said that’s it I quit . And I did .

Not a real long time after that wife was taking me to the hospital. It’s a long way but I did not figure I needed the box . The farther we went the worse it got . By the time
We got there it was BAD . The ER don’t make you wait when you are that bad . They took my BP and took me on back . Nurse asked the problem I said I think alcohol withdrawal. It had been many hours since I had a beer and blew 2x the legal limit .

They took great care of me and treated me good .

Nurse said I was a really good patient, I said y’all had me on so many drugs I could not argue with you if I wanted to . We both laughed.

I found her after discharge gave her a hug and told her thank you for saving my life .

She said “ that’s what I do , at least you lived “we call that a win .

Son says the same thing , save one it’s a win .
They don’t save them all on the ambulance.
