Driftless SW Wisconsin | Looks good! I love to see cows with heads down on fresh grass in the spring.
I also turned cows out of their sacrifice pasture and onto fresh grass this afternoon. They made it clear that they were not at all interested in any more hay. The winter pasture looks like a golf green, so I figured I'd let them go even though I would like to have given the first paddock a few more days.
In a week though the grass will be growing like crazy and producing more than they can consume so I might as well get started. | |
