Best to cold turkey all that crap. Adds nothing to your health, only serves to shorten your life and line the pockets of its manufacturers.

That’s darn sure the ONLY way I was successful getting off beer . Make up your mind and pull the plug .

Cold turkey off a 30 pack a day is dangerous , I googled it but not believe until I was laying in a bed getting checked on every 15 minutes day and night . I have no idea what they were giving me for meds , nurse did say one was Valium and seizure medicine one for blood pressure and a few others I did not ask about . They would come about every 4-6 hours with their little cup . 4-5 pills and take my blood pressure . They did say there was a chance I would have had a siezure at home . I said mam when a farmer comes to the hospital we are darn sick . When I was getting discharged I thanked her and the others . I said I sure was sick , she said you had more symptoms than we have seen in a while you had us worried . I don’t remember much of it . She said the doctor said “ throw everything at him they did . I was so doped up I could hardly go piss . The nurse asked when I was getting better
Are you going to drink when you get home . I told her no mam I believe I have learned my lesson . She said the same people come back a bit , I said yeah I know son is a firefighter/EMT . He says the same thing , except in Dallas it’s drug overdose.
