Regarding carrying smoldering ammo.
I just read 2 weeks ago ammo won't explode without hitting the primer. Is that true?
Ammo will still ignite/explode, just not as forceful since it's not directed down a barrel. Cans/boxes of ammo in a fire just kind of pop erratically, not quite as loud as a firecracker.
How many of you volunteer FF train ?
