Kochia,  We measured and made diagrams and talked ... a lot.  We even considered adding a door to the side of the building to allow one truck to be backed in crossways.  We could make it fit, but there would be almost no margin for error.  It would leave us with no room for meetings or training.  Getting around the firehouse would guarantee we had no overweight firefighters.  Bottom line, it just was not a good idea.
