| That hamburger steak might be precooked too!
A year or so ago I got my hands on a catalog from a large food vendor and they, as you noted in your other post, had an incredible amount of meat products that were all precooked and ready to heat and serve.
In some ways, it makes things more uniform and faster, but it was a little shocking to see.
Precooked hamburger patties, steaks, cooked and sliced brisket, and crappy tasting chicken fried steaks, etc.
One of my friends reacts badly to MSG, and can tell when he gets precooked meats because they have loads of it in there.
The food catalog did also have a big selection of raw meat for sale too, so at least a few places still order some... | |
