| Hello, I am using an InCommand 1200 and Steady Steer on my planting tractor. This year I unlocked the 7500 receiver to RTK. I am using the Ohio CORS satellite network. For this I needed to supply WiFi to the 1200 and I do this via the hotspot on my iPad gen 10. The iPad is also tethered to the 20/20 Seed Sense module to map and record planter data.
So I am running a 16/31 planter. In corn the RTK correction was perfect. Sub 1” variance on my 30” guess rows. Great!
I changed to soybeans and 15” rows. My guess rows are now ranging from 12-19”. I can visibly see the crooked/wavy rows from the cab. Same tractor, same planter, same iPad and other electronics. Just 15 more rows in the ground. The planter is not causing this. The autosteer is simply not responding like it did with 16 rows of corn. The field is wide open with no woods within a mile. The WiFi signal is strong as is the connectivity. Have you experienced this? Or have an explanation? Picture for effect. TIA
