Subject: RE: Life changing books

Although not really considered literature in most English departments, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” and “The Picture of Dorian Gray” got me into some serious reading and eventually a masters in English lit.

History wise, “Rogue Warrior,” by Richard Marchinko was as an eye opener about the military as well as “All Fall Down” by Gary Sick about our actions in Iran.

William Manchester’s “Goodbye Darkness,” scarred the crap out of me as a young Marine.

Politically, “The Road to Serfdom.”
