CHECK to see if the ones you purchase are strong enough. Sometimes these little shelves are made flimsy with no end bracing or back bracing designed into them. I have some Menards shelving that hook together. The ends have braces, and the frames fit well. A light duty version of pallet racking. They aren't too bad. You have a wire rack option or a hard press-board deck option. Not having any experience, I purchased the wire rack shelving thinking in a shop the dust will all fall through the rack wire and be cleaner.
I HATED THEM and replaced the rack wire shelves with hard board shelves. ANYTHING small falls through and hooks on the wires. Try putting a bundle of rachet straps and tarp straps on that shelf and EVERY HOOK STICKS TO THE WIRES!!
>>YOU cant slide a big heavy box or package or anything that isn't rounded cornered, smooth and hard on the bottom on those wire racks without then hooking the sliding surfaces and making an everyday effort turn into a time-consuming PITA placement of your items you are storing. Ill just live with the dusty shelves.
