The problem has always been deer getting used to whatever we try.

When beans are small I’ll spray some type of liquid fish fertilizer. I’ll get whatever is cheapest at the time and all of them smell about the same amount of terrible. lol

Ground hogs usually do the most damage to small beans in my area. All my fields are small, odd shaped and surrounded by trees and creeks.

Some of the garlic/hot pepper liquids work for a while, at least when the beans are small. Spray around the borders after a rain usually.

But “lead” that’s always a winner. Lol
