Central Minnesota

landanvancleve - 5/1/2025 21:22 Call or email for more info, free 30min consult. 320.370.1087 or https://priorconverted.com/ Former agency expert specializing in Agricultural wetlands in Minnesota. The agency will make sure you have a wetland map, regardless how accurate or old it is. Every county FSA / NRCS office is full of file cabinets with outdated and over restrictive wetland maps. I can help advocate for the best answer for your Farm. The state of MN passed a new law honoring the NRCS wetland labels and exempted activities, there is no better time than now to start working on a more accurate and most likely less restrictive answer from NRCS. I located centrally in MN, where my years of expertise lie. However, I have helped clients in IL and WI as well. Doesn't hurt to call. Thanks and God Bless Landan [email protected]

Good morning Landan.  Wondering if there are options besides getting a updated 1026 from FSA/NRCS?  I checked on a farm I have been renting since 1998 and the last 1026 is from 1991. They think it could be up to a year before they look at it.   Seems as the process has changed in that the local office sends it out to a specialized office.  Is that who you used to work for so know some tricks to speed things up?

Sure seems like some things have change a bit to the better in my perspective on drainage in Minnesota from activity I see in my area.
