N FLA | I have lived in a neighborhood for the whole time I've had cattle. 2 years ago we sold our house, moved into a rental. Last may got this house and 5 acres. Got a pen built in the fall or winter and have been able to wean and feed calves. Finally today got the last of the fence tight enough to graze my 4 acre martini ranch. It's 5 acres but I'm sure I'm using an acre outside the pasture.
I've thought for years if I could just improve my own junk before I sell it I could likely double my sales$$$.
I lost a second parcel that was for sale. About 50 acres total. So I'm going to hit my culls hard and get them fed and sold.
If you guys ever want to talk about getting started from nothing, I probably have something to add to the conversation. I still have very little, but man what a weight this takes off my shoulders in the big picture.
