Chaffee, Western New York | We replaced our heavy rescue truck with used due to cost and troublewith/of new and we'd already dumped a ton of money into repairs into our '95.
Going to keep our older Frontline pumper for at least 5 more years with the intention of keeping it even longer.
Our "Brush truck" is going to be replaced by 2 pickup trucks one with a skid unit and the other with the detour signs, cones, road barriers that get used more often.
Realistically adopting a residential sprinkler standard would save more property and lives than adding a dozen engines. Almost all out fires are discovered by passersby, fully involved and little is saved
