SW OH | I've been taking 40mg of Lisinopril and 25mg of hydrochlorothiozide for about a year. I've had a bad cough as well. In the winter people often ask me if I'm sick. I eat cough drops like candy. I was going to ask for something different when the bottle ran out, but my wife just got it refilled 2 days ago. I've been eating ultra low carb for years. I never had high blood pressure until I started getting testosterone shots. I was lured into them by the thought of losing excess fat. It didn't help, but it thickens blood and raises blood pressure. It's been a little over 2 years since I quit the shots. Without BP medicine I'm around 150/90. It's noon and I'm 125/71 right now. Sure do hate the cough.
