Give or take 90% by top 10% and corporations
Top 1% taxable income is apx $787,000 today in the US.
For 35 years, I have broke down tax returns. Most farmers pay little to no federal tax snd very little SS/Medicare tax and they don’t know the difference either.
When looking at government payments, a bigger % of gross and net income comes from government payments— on the small and mid sized farms.
