I always wondered if a surface applied spray band of 32 nitrogen right over top of the row would repel or even kill any slugs trying to move in and feed on newly sprouted plants.
I don’t think it would take a whole lot to do it? Think it would be easy to tell in an area with heavy slug pressure.
