Agree. However the youngster needs to know how to do cash flow, property statement,and what other financial statement they want. Sad part is some don’t know how cause dad never did it or showed them how. And thus they have hard time getting approved or just say heck with it.
That’s why FSA requires one of multiple things to show knowledge or experience I believe two of the options are or were degree in ag business or the like and another was being enrolled in a farm business management at a community college or like. There are options to learn what you’re concerned about as a young farmer works through the program. |
