| I don't really care all that much what my neighbors do. Didn't mean to bother anyone! I would really just like to understand the reasons for pushing when predicted weather forecasts (I know they can change) are hot, dry, and sunny. I'm glad your corn is emerged already and corn is driven by heat units not total days of emergence.
The difference maker is, how many additional heat units are your corn acres getting while taking into effect the potential germ issues you may have had because of colder weather. Are those additional heat units going to make a massive difference from a field with better germ % because of ideal planting conditions and while they emerged 1 week later, how many GDU's have we accumulated since April 12th.
