| Central MN area. Years and years of good data showing optimum planting window May 1-15. It has been cold, wet, and dreary all week. Guys are still going like crazy to beat the (cold) rain. As if they can't finish in 4-5 days with their large high speed equipment anyways. Extended forecast looks unbelievably perfect for warming soil conditions and aligns with optimum planting dates. I know it's hard when you get the itch and when the neighbors are going, but isn't your bottom line top of mind? I can't be the only one... but it sure feels like it! | |
