When I look at the price of beef in the store I am very thankful that venison is the only meat I eat.

I know it’s not something everyone wants to do or can do…..but if I wasn’t a farmer and had some type of regular job, I sure as hell would have a few acres that I could have livestock just enough for my own families needs for a year.
My kids all get a steer and hog from my wife and I each year.
