SE IA | We've stayed several times at the wildlife refuge cabins in south range while snowmobiling. It's up in the keweenaw a bit from the porkies. Nice place to stay with great hosts. A couple decent food options near by. We always grab a couple pasties from the VFW that's right down the hill. I think they get delivered by the ladies once a week there. Not sure on proximity to other activities you're looking for but they're definitely kid and wife approved. | |
