IA/MN/WI | Not all liquid boron is created equal. The brandt stuff, or any of the private label stuff from them(meristem, streamline ag) is unmatched for quality. And it is a complexed form which makes it plant mobile, unlike a plain old 10% chelated product.
If it's going on 2x2 or with drops then sure, go with the cheap stuff because it's likely going to tie up in the ground and only a little will get in the plant via the roots, but if he is going to apply foliar he's wasting money on 10% EDTA boron, spend the extra few bucks on Smart B or Nutriboost NKBS or Complete, there is no sense in foliar feeding a Boron product that isn't complexed. | |
