Latimer, Iowa (north central) | A Tebbe is the best spreader out there for what you desire to spread. They are not cheap but spread amazing. We had a Tebbe HS 200 and now a HS 240. There is one dealer I know of but he is very responsive and gets parts out quick. Greenfield Spreading and Sales. I have no connection with them besides buying a spreader there. A scale and rate controller are very key as well for control of different volumes.
We spread composted cattle manure and poultry litter as the primary products. Also spread ground egg shells, similar to lime. I have spread cattle manure with alot of long straw in it and it did that well too. |
