west central Iowa | I've seen where people cut out the steel and bolt thick poly on with an angle above the poly welded on. My concern with that would be that a critter might get one toe on that angle and mess up their hoof. There used to be a trailer dealer/manufacturer in Denison,IA. They welded in steel at the bottom of mine probably at least 20 years ago that's still good. I'm thinking it was thicker than the original. | |
