If the planter is in good shape and the biggest problem is loading it have you thought about renting or buying a seed wagon with an auger? It doesn't have to be a $30000 rig. I think I payed around $4000 for mine with a gas engine. I have a 7300 I plant beans with and a modern 1725 JD for corn. I can't see that much difference except wear.
