You can still buy brand new ground drive 1775nt’s With row boxes and no fertilizer with everything mechanical except for air down pressure but they obviously have a new price tag. You could probably find a CCS 1770 that’s bare bones pretty cheap but then you need to auger your corn in or be able to lift the boxes over the planter.
Edit to say, I guess I shouldn’t say all mechanical because I don’t know if the 1775s are offered with finger pickup meters anymore but some new planter models are. But they do sell bare bones vacuum planters in the 1775 platform.
