SWOH
Generic AuthorityFirst (Aquesta, Vibrant, etc…) is about $5 acre for a 3 oz rate. I don’t like to go much more than 3 or 4 oz with AuthorityFirst and I don’t use Valor in front of beans anymore. It works but I’ve had more damage done with a low rate of Valor than a decent rate of AuthorityFirst. And I throw in 5 oz of metribuzin DF. I’ll use generic Valor in the fall though.

Kinda depends on what you’re trying to prevent or kill though.

My go to in conventional beans was AuthorityXL, metribuzin, and metolachlor pre and then fomesafen or fomesafen/Firstrate with clethodim post. Did a decent job. If you’re that dry, watch the carryover on the fomesafen if going to corn the following year.
