I have found that it takes an exceptionally rare change of events to successfully alter my plans; otherwise, I always regret it.

You indeed have an exceptional change (record prices), but in the direction of CONFIRMING the original plan, not altering it. How many times have we all seen people pass up a tremendous windfall, caught up in the euphoria, only to end up with far less later?

A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. Take the PROFIT and run. Don't get greedy...

After the crash (who knows how long it'll be but we all know it will come), buy some CHEAP cows. Buy when others are selling, and sell (like now) when others are buying.
