How did you come up with setting of 3? You don't have wheel radius, drive sprocket ratios (could be multiple) and pump model number. If it is even a John Blue pump. Could be hydraulic drive, pump with spray controller, etc....
If it is a John Blue pump then go to their web page and use the pump setting calculator and insert all the specs. It will be spot on for setting #.
Well we have a john blue ground drive putting on fifteen gallon set at a touch over four.. So to get started at ten I would set it at three and fine tune from there.. he shouldn't short change himself at that number.. Take few acres to get it tuned.. Sorry for being so unscientific,comes with old age KISS.. |
