Eastern Nebraska | If you're asking about the garden type planter I have an Earthway brand that came with a bunch of different seed plates. If you're wanting a precision piece of equipment, you would be better off with something else, but it does work well enough for a garden.
I've used it for my sweet corn and it works great as long as you're fine with skips and uneven emergence. It's tough to get it to pick up the corn see reliably and then equally as hard to get it to plant at a consistent depth. With its shortcomings, for $150 it sure beats planting by hand like I used to do.
