Keep up the good work and post results from the combine, Luke.   Frustrates me that not enough people are willing to put in a little effort for real world results like you and I have.

Just throwing out an idea, because we're sorta close enough geographically that it could be feasible....  If there was a piece of dirt where you have history of replant issues and such.
I'd consider bringing my tile plow and doing a bit of reasonably priced work where a field could be split with drainage and without to do seed treatment plots.
