on the way to kirksville this day noticed a field that had been hayed forever was planted into something. couldnt be any worse than continuous hay carried off.
those continuous hay gara hillsides that haven't seen anything but urea for several decades really make some productive row crop ground. Maybe they'll keep washing down to some unrealized layer of fertile topsoil
