ND | China indicated they wanted bilateral tariffs removed but other than that China isn’t saying much. I read several reports that Trump has called Xi more than once but that he’s not taking Trumps calls. At the latest news conference Bessent refused to answer whether the US was in talks with China. Sounds like a no. China may be just going to let the tariffs take their course and see what happens. Should get interesting. I don’t notice increased prices yet on the stuff I buy. | |
