Iowa | I strip till with a gladiator, Steeper areas that I contour hold up fine, if it's end rows or places I can't contour I do like the person above and just raise it up and not till those specific spots. I also make spring strips with a shank, and it hasn't been any issues. I don't have any wash outs before planting, but I have had them after the planter comes through and flattens the berm, that's why I no-till specific spots, but we are only talking like 2 acres out of an 80 acre field. | |
