| Correct - The display will receive OTA notifications for all modules that it is configured to use (in the display firmware repository) regardless if you actually use them or not in your operation. After it updates the display repository, if you ever hook up a module that is on older firmware compared to what is in the display repository, then it will update the physical module at that time.
So for your example, it's expected you received the OTA update for Z2. Next time you hook up a Z2 steering module to your display, it will notify you that it is on old firmware and you need to update the module. | |
