Auxvasse, MO | I do cover crops and notill back when I was still using NH3 to side dress got out and did some digging, killed earth worms next to the injection, later on high earth worm activity in the NH3 zone. So it killed at first improved biological activity later. I don't like to surface apply nitrogen fertilizer to many ways to lose it , or get tide up in breaking down surface residue I want it put in the ground if I can . I use a air cart with openers to side dress with untreated urea. | |
