I would think that Urea would cause a lot more nitrogen to be in the river vs NH3. Always been told Nh3 ties to the soil as it goes through a chemical reaction after injection and becomes very stable. I believe Urea is mostly spread and I would think that would more easily wash away in a heavy rain.
