Subject: Adding 80/20 to heavy corn

western iowa
My deere planter doesn't like heavy corn. I basically add 80/20 as fast as I can scoop it when I'm putting seed in with the tender. But I don't feel like I'm getting it coated even enough. I have a few rows that get starved for seed and plant a little lighter than the others.

So my new idea is, before planting, to add a full bucket of 80/20 to a cube of corn. Drain that cube into another cube. Then drain that cube back into the original. Then through the conveyor onto the tender. Then through the conveyor into the planter. So it should have 4 opportunities to get mixed.

Anybody else doing something like this?
