Yes, there is a stub cable that mates with the Steering Control Module that you can get from Ag Leader.. It has a short stub with two wires and a connector. Connect a momentary hand or foot switch to them. You are sort of stuck in buying from them since you need the special plug to mate with the module.

But once again, this is how it is done with two of my tractors and combine but NOT with my planting tractor that uses the tractor's CAN steering. With that tractor I must use the Deere engage switch that would be used with a Deere steering system.

No experience with Ag Leader at all, but a couple thoughts/questions I'm seeing here.

I'm sure AgLeader doesn't make the plug to mate with the module so if you source that yourself you should be able to make the "stub" yourself as well, if you are into doing that kind of thing.

Is there any reason you can't use both the Deere engage button as well as a different momentary, whether footswitch or other? I know in our Massey 8650 with a Topcon X35 console you can use the factory button as well as a remote engage momentary switch, though in that case the switch is wired directly to the console, not another steering controller.
